Hi! I'm Natalie, a learning experience designer and consultant who works remotely with organizations, educators, and subject matter experts. My specialty is learner-centered design that starts with deep needs analysis and ends with something people actually want to use.
I am both a PreK-12 STEM curriculum development specialist and a learning experience designer for professional development, adult education, industry, and compliance courses.
Learners tune out, skip ahead, or forget everything by Friday.
People move through the training and then go right back to normal.
The design assumes everyone has the same needs. They don't.
Before I touch a single slide or unit, I figure out what's actually going on. Sometimes the answer isn't a course or a curriculum at all.
I start with what success looks like for your learners and then build everything backward from there. Every design decision has a reason.
Accessibility isn't an afterthought. Every learner can engage fully, whether they're in corporate onboarding or a high school STEM class.
From full learning programs to a second set of expert eyes, here's how I can help.
Full-service learning design from needs analysis to final deliverable. You bring the expertise; I'll bring the structure and strategy.
A design partner for teams at any stage. Whether you need a project audit, a second opinion, or help finding the right path forward.
Complete, development-ready storyboards with clear objectives, logical flow, and interaction notes. Ready to hand off to your developer.
Materials and activity structures for live, hybrid, or blended learning that give facilitators everything they need to run a great session.
Figure out the right problem before spending anything on development. Sometimes the answer is training. Sometimes it isn't.
Mission-driven work is close to my heart, especially if it's serving historically marginalized communities or conservation efforts. If you're working within a limited budget, let's talk.
